My research focuses on innovative medical device to detect and analyze rare cells in blood, e.g. circulating tumor cells (CTC) as culprit of metastasis causing 90% of cancer death. Collaboration with physicians in breast, colorectal and prostate cancers in NTU Hospital, a 2200-bed facility, ensures yielding focus on clinical utility throughout the development process.
